Father's Day
Double Digits
I knew the day would come eventually and it finally did. Eric turned 10!!. Yikes. I really wish they could stay little forever. However, it has been wonderful watching him learn and grow and try new things. I loved his fourth grade year of school. He had several projects that he did great on, he played the violin in orchestra, he was inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society and he played basketball and floor hockey.
We had his party yesterday. He asked for a basketball cake with either the Nuggets or the Heat playing. I'm no pro when it comes to decorating cakes and I couldn't find players to put on a cake so we took a different approach. I think it turned out nicely.
We sent him on a scavenger hunt to find his gifts with the last clue leading him to a new bike. His jaw dropped when he saw it. Happy Birthday Eric!!

Katie turned Four
Katie's birthday was Monday May 9th but we didn't have her party until Saturday. We let her open one gift before school. New Shoes!!
She loves The Little Mermaid.
One of three Little Mermaid dolls. She loves every one of them too.

Easter 2011
These pictures are from Easter. It was Andrew's first Easter. Dean thought the Easter Bunny was lame because he only got cereal and baby food. Dean must have forgotten that he threw in a few Peeps as well. I put Andrew in the highchair to look in his basket. He had a spoon in one hand and a Peep in the other. I kept waiting for him to eat the Peep but he never did. He kept trying to put it down but it was stuck to his hand. Eric, Charles and Katie loved dying the eggs and hunting for the treat filled plastic eggs.
